"DISHA"was an extension activity
"DISHA"was an extension activity organized by Computer Science department on behalf of BCA Association IT-MATRIX on 24th July 2019. It was an awareness program based on Computer Literacy .This activity was mainly conducted for the people who lives near the college . The participation extended over 35 people.The main aim of the program was to make people aware of the modern technologies and how to use the technologies in our day to day life. The whole program was controlled by the staff coordinator Mr. Jithesh P. and student coordinator Mr. Hani Muhammed Bin Akbar ( 5th Semester BCA).
The program has been conducted in the Seminar Hall at 10am.It started with a prayer followed by the Welcome note proposed by Mr.Jithesh P. (Program coordinator, BCA Dept.) Mr. Prof P. Moosa (Principal, ITM College of Arts and Science, Mayyil) delivered the Presidential address and spoke about the importance of Cyber Technologies .The chief guest ,Mr. Muneer K. K. (Chairman,ITM College college ,HIRA Charitable Trust )praised the entire event a lot. He guided with his inspirational words and inspired us to do better .K.K. Usha (Ward member ),Mrs.Bindu P.R.(Staff Secretary ) , MR .Rajesh M. (Non -teaching staff ),MR. Muhammed Riyad (College Union Chairman ) made the felicitation speech. The students of BCA Dept ,Ms. Amna P. and Ms.Ayshathul Afra (5th semester BCA) presented their topic about 'ATM' . They taught the people how to operate the ATM. Mr.Nived M.C. (3rd semester BCA) & Ms .Manal K presented their topic about “Paytm”. Mr. Rithin Dinesh took a class about cyber crime. After the session, the participants filled the feedback forms and spoke about their view on the program. All participants and committee members were appreciated with mementos by the dignitaries Mr Muneer K.K. & Mr.Prof. Moosa P.The session concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr.Hani Muhammed Bin Akbar.
